SHANA MABARI : INFINITY
A Film by Eric Minh Swenson. On view at The Loft at Liz's through February 4, 2014. INFINITY is a multi dimensional space transformed through mirror, vinyl and acrylic lightbox. Also exhibited, archival pigment prints of ILLUMINATED project: A light based triptych of polyhedron; Diamond, Cube and Rectangle sculptures to be exhibited on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, CA. Exhibition runs February 2014 through January 2015. Shana Mabari studied at Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design, Los Angeles and l'École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Paris. Mabari has collaborated on several projects with leading scientists from Caltech, Pasadena, CA and Institute of Neuroinformatics, Zurich. She holds a patent for the design of 'Dynamic Spatial Illusions'. Mabari encourages collaborations between science, art and technology and believes that to further contemporary art we must enthusiastically venture into other disciplines. Shana Mabari is a recipient of the Center for Cultural Innovation ARC grant. She lives and works in Los Angeles.
